Beginning to look like Home

Hello again everybody! Many thanks to all of you who have inquired about our new venture. Progress continues inside and outside of the building including our friends at Longbranch opening last week and "The Delaware" sign being placed on the building. In our 1800 square feet of glorious beer space, rough-in inspection is completed, drywall is up, the cooler is in, the garage door for our outside seating is installed, and the support for the bar and the divider for the family section have been framed. We have also been approved by the federal authorities to brew great beer in the building. Progress!

In the coming days, our bar area will come together, we will have painters do their thing, and our new equipment will be dropped in place at the end of the month. Follow this blog for more updates, possible opening day, and keep an eye on @mashcraftbrews on social media for cool things as they happen. Cheers!

If you have driven passed the 22nd and Delaware intersection, you have seen progress continues on the new building that we will call home. Since we last posted, we have been working hard behind the scenes to lay the groundwork for our new MashCraft location on Delaware. We have applied for all of our licenses, connected with the Indiana Board of Health and Alcohol and Tobacco Commission, finalized our floor plan, and are currently perusing quotes for our small portion of the buildout and beginning to search for additional brewing equipment to allow us to keep up with making all of the beer we will need.

The layout of the building will feature MashCraft on street level in the middle suite with a front door from the Delaware sidewalk and a back door on the east end open to the building's parking lot. We will have approximately 16 seats at our bar with another dozen in the 21+ bar area and a few tables outside on the sidewalk. We are also happy to include an all ages section with 20 seats split between 5 tables.

Within this layout, we are going to feature a 5 vessel brew system that is going to allow us to brew more beer to add to our already diverse lineup. This brew system will also allow us to sell carryout growlers and bullets every day of the week including Sunday. Sunday carryout sales will begin once we receive permit approvals from Federal TTB and the State of Indiana ATC.

The building is planned to open for residents in the upper floors in late August/early September. We are planning our portion to be ready later with no certain date set. Keep an eye out on this blog and our social media @mashcraftbrews for a more detailed opening date as it approaches. Cheers!

MashCraft is planning expansion to Indianapolis

Hello from all of us at MashCraft Brewing! We are coming to you in the midst of crafting great beer in Greenwood with a few words about our possible expansion to Indianapolis. We have reached an agreement with "The Delaware" project being built at 22nd and Delaware to join on as a tenant along with the Longbranch restaurant and Miller Dental. In addition to our exciting plans to continually improve our Greenwood brewery and taproom, we are thrilled to join a great neighborhood that already features establishments like Goose the Market, Shoefly Public House, and our comrades at The Koelschip. We still have a handful of hurdles to clear, but keep your eyes on this page and our social media (@mashcraftbrews on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) for updates as the project progresses. More answers about our setup, service, hours, beers, and food will be released over the next few months. Cheers to great beer!
